What is a good name for a garden design company?
Gardner

I am starting a company to help people design and refresh their gardens and landscapes.  My services will include planning out their garden, helping them select plants at the nursery, and then helping them keep their yard green and healthy.  I'm thinking of a name with
"-- Scenes" or "-- Scapes" in it, but I'm open to any ideas.  I am near the coast and specialize in plants that do well there. I love the name Gardenscapes but it is already taken.  Thanks much!

Hi:
I am a landscaper and designer. I have had a business for over eight years. When you create the name of your business, think of your own personality and how it can reflect on your clients. You live near the coast and are in a sub - tropical or tropical setting. Coastal Gardening may be a thought as well of Garden Scences By The Sea, Tropical Paradise Through Gardening, Gardening With Tropical Plants, Creating Coastal Gardens, or Coastal Gardenscapes.

These are just a few that come to mind. Take some words that reflect your area and spend some time playing with the different words. Put some good thought about what your clients would like. This is what I did with my off line business as well as my on line business. I will link you to the tropics section of my website. Browse through as you may find something that may help you. Good luck to you and if I can be of any other help, let me know! Have a great day!
Kimberly

Landscape Design, Landscape services? Which do I need?

I bought a house that hasn't had any landscaping done to it at all. Unless you count overgrown bushes, weeds, and the neighbors bushes encroaching in my yard. I want to get a flower garden started next spring.

I have a guy who will cut the bushes and weeds for me. He could do tilling if I need it or i can. But it's the garden design I need help with. I'm not sure what flowers and plants would work best in my yard and I'm not that good at color design and design ideas. But I don't necessarily need someone to do all the planting for me.

I just need to know What to plant Where and When. Like a "Paint-By-Numbers" design for my garden.

Is this the type of service a landscape designer would do? Or a landscape service? If not them, then who would be able to do something like this? And how much done something like that cost (ballpark)?

I'd appreciate information from other gardeners and especially people who work in the landscape business.

Thanks.

P.S. Please don't suggest I buy a bunch of garden books. I have a bunch. I still can't decide where to begin.

Hello.I would go with the Designer as opposed to an Architect,The fee would be a lot less.I fell that an Architect has the education of book smarts, where as most Designers will have the actual field knowledge.I have worked in the Landscape Irrigation Service for 32 years, and I have only seen a very few Architects that actually have a clue on well designed Landscapes.

I think that you do have the ability to design this your self though.Just in your every day travels,to the store to work walks in your neighborhood, take mental notes of the plantings, trees, flowers, the flow of the plant beds.Take your digital camera along to take photos, this can be very helpful to go back and view the images.

Pay close attention to what plants look and grow well in your area. And if you happen across a landscape with plantings you like, don't hesitate to ask questions if the home owner is around.I have learned over the many years working in Landscapes that most people have a good eye in what looks good.

The fee could be from a few hundred dollars and up.

Good Luck and I know You can do it.

Should God have intelligent designed a snake exterminator service for his garden?

in order to keep pet humans safe?

You even made my cat laugh.........

Would have been a good >idea, no?

The Oriental Express - A chinese Takeaway

Greenfingers - Gardening Service

Inner Healing - Holistic Health Service

any ideas of what i should write... cuz i don't lol

thanks in advance!

What do you have to write exaclty? a slogan?

What do you think would be a good logo for a gardening services company?

My other half is setting up a gardening services company and we're currently looking at what his company logo should look like. It'll be on advertising leaflets, business cards , a website and possibly on his pick up truck. We've done a dragonfly design so far but was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. We want to portray that he's reliable ,efficient, knowledgeable in plants and horiculture and can take on work pople just don't have time for.

Bob-a-job?

Its the old Boy Scout fundraising motto, and as such, older people may recognise it a representing hard work, initiative and traditional reliability.

CAMBRIA IS A VILLAGE LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE COASTLINE OF CALIFORNIA. My husband and I started going there for Edsel meets (don't ask) over twenty years ago. We go once or twice every year. The Village has strict water rationing, so the private gardens are great examples of creative and beautiful drought tolerant gardening. Along with gardens and forests, there is a beautiful beach called Moonstone Beach. Mission San Juan Capistrano was founded on All Saints Day November 1, 1776 by Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order. The Mission is home to the oldest building in California still in use, known as "Father Serra's Church." The Mission is known for the annual "Return of the Swallows." (Actually, in recent years the swallows have preferred to nest on the walls of the nearby Mission Viejo mall...) Using shrubs with varied colors and shapes of foliage, and with different flowering seasons, gives a mature, full garden border all year long.  Leaving one...
