I have been looking at Malibu Solar landscape lights and notice that they post no information as to how much light they put out. They have some solar lights that have two LEDs and some with three LEDs. How do these compare with the standard 4 watt low voltage lights?
About the same but more importantly for solar non-wired lights, what is the average run time? Some cheap ones will last only 4 hours while others can make it all night.

Bought new Malibu Landscaping Solar lights. The problem is it is rainy for the past two days and dark and since I have bought them they never charged fully. I bought them two days ago.
So If I want to charge my Malibu Solar batteries with a Charger, what should I care about and how long to charge thnx
Im not sure I would go through the trouble plus I don't know if they are made to be put in a recharger. You can bring them in the house under the light and they should recharge. This is going to happen on many cloudy days too. Welcome to solar lighting.
We tried them along a walkway and were very disappointed. The light they produced was very dim at best. We soon replaced them with low voltage wired lights. We now use the solar lights on a boat dock and still consider them ineffective.

Solar Road Panels On U.S. Highways May Fulfill Country#39;s Power ...
Solar powered products are made all the time; from phones to boats, just about anything can run on solar energy. However, roads which are treated to sunlight all through the days have never been used to harvest solar energy and that is quite surprising.
Whatever the difficulties had been in harvesting solar energy from roads, Solar Roadways have finally won a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to do just that. The $100,000 grant would be used to make Solar Road Panels which are basically panels of solar cells and glass that would catch the rays of the sun throughout sunny days.
The Solar Road Panels would be used on roads and parking lots instead of the petroleum-based asphalt that is generally being used currently. The panels would also contain LEDs that light up the path and even give warnings about roadblocks and wildlife ahead of drivers. Although the Solar Panels are just in the prototype stage, designer Scott Brusaw believes that layering the entire U.S. interstate highway system with the panels would garner enough energy to sustain the country.
