What are the best landscape architecture schools for a MLA?

I'm looking for schools in the US, Europe, Canada and Australia.

G'day

There are only 39 universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and they are tightly controlled, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The most important thing is you have to READ the course information carefully, since some courses may have the same name but different content.

There are quite a number of uni that offer Architecture, but you may also check some universities in particular below. To find out more uni for Architecture and where it is offered, I suggest you to go to IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification (in English and original language). The process will take abt 2-3weeks, depending on the time of the year.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your studies :)

Looking for school for degree in landscape architecture?

I have an interest in going back to school for landscape architecture - any idea where some of the best schools are for that?

are you looking for the states?.... well there washington state university , wentworth institute of technology in boston, any it or a&m usually will have a decent architecture school. I've been searching for architectural design schools. I know that the first two offer BA's and Masters in the feilds

I'm looking for a college of landscape design or architecture. Anyone know of any good schools?

I'm a senior in high school, and I'm looking to go into landscape architecture. I would like to go to a college that has a very good landscape program. Preferably the school is located in a semi warm climate, but I'm open to any schools at all. I'm also looking for a relatively small school, but again, I'm open. Thanks so much! xxx Goldilocks

The University of Utah has a very good Architectural School.

When should I expect acceptance or denial to Cal Poly schools for Landscape Architecture?

I applied to Cal Poly SLO and Pomona for Landscape Architecture at the beginning/end of October (respectively). Is it normal for it to take this long (it is Jan. 23rd)? I know my major is competitive, but I am a transfer student with a 3.5 GPA and previous work experience in my major. Any ideas?
I applied to Cal Poly SLO and Pomona for Landscape Architecture at the beginning/end of October (respectively). I haven't heard from either one and my online application status says it is still under review. Is it normal for it to take this long (it is Jan. 23rd)? *so not hearing an immediate denial is a good sign?

to tell you the truth when my son applied to both of these schools, SLO, denied him right away and Cal Poly Pomona has not said a word, my friends son was denied within a week when he applied to Cal Poly Pomona, so I would think you guys are looking good so far for Pomona!!!

Who has a better Landscape Architecture program?

Who has a better Landscape Architecture program: Oklahoma University (Norman, OK) or Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, OK)? Anyone that either goes to one of these schools or knows about landscape architecture please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I am a second year landscape architecture student at Cal Poly SLO. I don't know about either of those school's programs, but I do have advice on what to look for in a program:
-accredidation- if your college of landscape architecture isn't accredited, your degree won't count
-studios with low student to teacher ratios 30-1 is the highest I'd go
-which program has professors that are more qualified and have worked in a larger range of areas in the field (for example maybe one worked in residential for years and another for the forestry service and another on large-scale commercial.. get a good mix)
-what school has a pace you can keep up with
-reputation of the school and its connections- will you have opportunities to intern with alumni?

“Roger has shown extraordinary vision and leadership during his years as architecture dean,” said Suzanne Ortega, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. “It is UNM’s great fortune that he will continue to contribute as a senior faculty member as well as assist with campus planning issues and new facility design for the University.”
