What makes a great landscape design? i really want to become a landscape architect.?

I have seen a lot of designs, but don't know what makes one stand out above the rest.

I think it is the same principles that operate in good interior design. The design takes little maintainence to maintain, it suits the life and lifestyle of the home's occupants, and it rises up to meet you. By that I mean, it goes above and beyond expectation, keeps interest, has unexpected elements, reflects who lives there and what is important to them and utilizes a wide variety of media which all works together to create an environment which brings peace, serenity and happiness to those who dwell there that is shared with all of those who see it.

how would I find a job for landscaping design/architect after college?

I have a recipe for success when it comes to job hunting. No matter what your skills, or how nice your resume is, you will not get a job if you do not get an interview.

I recommend blitzing all the landscape architects that you would like to work with and customize a cover letter for each of them. Mail all of these at one time. You can find them in the phone book and on the internet if you do not know them already. The theory is that the best firms do not go looking for their employees in the newspaper or on monster. The best companies may place their positions on their website or hire head hunters. Of course there's no sense in putting all your eggs in one basket. I recommend a second mailing to include all the rest of the potential employers about two weeks after the first. This way you give yourself the best chance of getting the job you want before having to decide on whatever might just be available.

Always take time to evaluate a job offer. A few days to a week is usually acceptable. If you want to take more than a few days always send a thank you card or letter for the opportunity to interview. This is especially important if a decision on an offer is pending on their part. With this econonmy landscape design often gets cut from construction budgets first. Be wary of offers that come too quickly. Companies that burn out employees and those who hire and then fire as needed are often the ones who make the quick offers. Make sure to get an opportunity to see the office and meet the other employees before you accept. This way you get to look at how many emplyees there are and what there attitude seems to be working there.

Finally for Landscape Architecture look to large civil engineering firms. They often have a landscape architecture component as well. Even if they do not have that kind of staff already, it doesn't mean you will not be the first one.

I would also recommend that if possible get a part time job with a landscape architect before graduation. If the market is competitive for new hires than this is an easier way to get the job. having a seat in the office already goes a lot further toward full time employment than the person who is just getting a foot in the door after graduation.

Good luck.

u r cracked version is split up in rar-set up split type(that is the visible set-up file is broken into several rar auto-install files).
all u need to do is to find the RAR-file with least number.
then extract from it to a folder.all other files will be auto-extracted in series.then open that folder,u will find the set-up file or it will be already installed.

NewSchool of Architecture amp; Design to Offer Master of Landscape ...

NewSchool of Architecture & Design has added two new degree programs, Master of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, to help meet growing demand for qualified professionals in these fields. Both programs will begin in the winter quarter.

“These two new degrees, along with the newly approved program in Digital Media Arts, significantly add to the depth and scope of NewSchool’s growing portfolio of programs. We can provide new opportunities for students to pursue their educational objectives, and be of greater service to the region,” said Dr. Steve Altman, president of NewSchool.

Master of Landscape Architecture

The Master of Landscape Architecture’s curriculum allows students to take advantage of growing opportunities in the fields of urban redevelopment, brownfield restoration and urban ecology. The program is closely linked to NewSchool’s well-established, NAAB-accredited architecture programs, providing direct collaboration between landscape architecture students and the architecture program in areas including urban issues, architectural history and theory, sustainability and urban design.

Landscape Architecture: Dealing With a #39;Larger Scale#39; | Planetizen

"Q: Your work at West 8 combines architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning. What is the difference for you between these disciplines?

With architecture, there is a client, there is a brief, there is a budget, and there is a location. Normally with a park, after you have been chosen to design it, there are still a lot of questions. What is the aim? Where are the entrances? How will people use the space? Sometimes there isn't even a location. In landscape architecture and urban planning, we deal with a larger scale than architecture and design, however the real difference is that architecture is more influential. If you're an architect, you can determine the final result. In landscape architecture and urban planning, that's not the case. You might influence the outcome, but that's about it."
