What is a good architectural design program for macs? Mainly for designing house plans.?

I draw a lot of house plans, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good architectural design program for Macs. I usually do just basic house plans but I am taking an architectural design course next year and would like to be able to do more in depth designs ( landscaping, decoration, furniture, etc).

What is the best software to use for architectural 3D design?

Not just for landscape or home designs for business. Thank You for any help.
What about for beginners?


For architectural and engineering 3D designs (Man made objects), only one software comes to the top: AutoCAD. NOT cheap at 5000$+!
But you can get some teacher's or student's versions... or an illegal copy! (ACAD is the most pirated software on the planet!)
For landscape (Natural objects), Maya and 3Ds Max are on the top as well.
Same remarks as for prices and availability!
