I am planning to plant some landscape (trees, shrubs, walk pad, etc) but eventually, I want to extend my patio, build a cook area, french-drain, irrigation system. What is the best way to obtain a professional landscape/hardscape design at affordable price?

Landscape designers are not cheap....but you could go to your local college and talk to the landscape/horticutural instructor and see if she/he has any students interested in sumitting ideas to you. Our local city college has a wonderful program with many talented students willing to help...especially if they can make a few bucks.

I'm going to order business cards and want some input on what design to use. I'm thinking a beach or waterfall landscape or flowers. Or should I go with the typical foto of someone getting a massage? Should have a business name or use Massage Therapy by Me? Are there colors you associate with massage? Thanks for your input and help.

You really should get a professional design done - someone who may have created other similar designs and can make something look really catchy.

My home was just waterproofed and all landscape plants had to be removed in the process. I want to start planting but would like to get a professional plan. My house value is only about $125,000. I plan to sell in 2 yrs and I think a nice yard with help with that process but am not sure if I can afford to have a design only drawn up ( I would purchase plants and do the work myself.) I just want a plan for the front of the house.

the answer is anything from a few hundred dollars to thousands.
You can find some nice design ideas online but I also believe most garden centres would do a basic design for you and not charge much if you then bought the products from them.
Be honest about what you are wanting and I am, sure you will have great success.t

You really should get this done professionally by a graphic designer. In terms of what name to put down, I would recommend putting a company name and then your name too. So it could be "New York Massage Therapy" as the title, then put your name in smaller letter, and then underneath it your qualifications (like any licensing you may have gotten, including how many years of experience, and types of massages you do).

Include an email address and phone number.

I'm not sure if you asked another similar question (I think I just answered something similar), but if you're not, you may want to check out this company, Reduced Printing, because they offer free business cards, and have design services. So you can get away pretty cheap for the whole thing
