Why are my landscape lights producing a dull light?
QUEM PODE - PODE. Quem não pode ...

I just installed 7 landscape lights and 2 spotlights this weekend and the light is very dull. I am using a 300 watt box and I ran about 250 feet of cable. the landscape lights are 10 watt and I believe the spotlights are 50 watt. Thanks!

Either your run is too long or the gauge of wire that you've used for the length of run is too small. 250 feet is a pretty long run. If you can make two runs of 125 feet you may see quite an improvement.

Carnaval - Rio de Janeiro - Brasil - Carnival - Brazil

I have been looking at Malibu Solar landscape lights and notice that they post no information as to how much light they put out. They have some solar lights that have two LEDs and some with three LEDs. How do these compare with the standard 4 watt low voltage lights?

About the same but more importantly for solar non-wired lights, what is the average run time? Some cheap ones will last only 4 hours while others can make it all night.

2 of my light bulbs to my landscape lighting broke one of the two prongs off in their respective sockets. when I pulled the bulb out, only one was still connected. This is a continous strand of 5 lights that runs under neath the concrete slab. Can I disassemble the socket some how, or do I need to replace the entire set?
can't pull it out with pliers since it broker out in the socket. The opening is barlely 1 mm wide.

Is it possible that you could just take a pair of needle-nosed pliers and just pull the pin out from the socket?

NONE ! Sorry to put it that way but there is no such thing a a good solar landscape light. Even though other will probably chime in saying they have some they like. You need to go with a 12 volt system which you can install yourself or the 120 volt which you will need an electrician.

Bought new Malibu Landscaping Solar lights. The problem is it is rainy for the past two days and dark and since I have bought them they never charged fully. I bought them two days ago.

So If I want to charge my Malibu Solar batteries with a Charger, what should I care about and how long to charge thnx

Im not sure I would go through the trouble plus I don't know if they are made to be put in a recharger. You can bring them in the house under the light and they should recharge. This is going to happen on many cloudy days too. Welcome to solar lighting.

How to Install Low Voltage Landscape Lights - Info Barrel

To keep it simple, you should add together the wattage number of each outdoor lighting fixture you will use, and then factor in a "buffer" amount for voltage drop and extra capacity in case future fixtures are added. 25% is a good amount to factor in growth and line drop. Once you have your total wattage number, then buy a transformer that can handle your number efficiently.
