im starting a company and i will be designing people landscapes around their homes, just wanted to know if there is any other computer software that would help me better then the one i already have
I used Better Homes and Gardens Landscaping and Deck Designer and thought it was a great program. It actually had a lot more stuff than I really needed but I still use it to look up different types of plants every time I get the urge to plant something new.
It's pretty easy to use.

Landcad as it used to be called or as its now called Autocad 3d is your only choice for landscape architecture. Since it is what all premier businesses and government agencies use. There is no such thing as free software for landscape architecture. There are some free softwares for landscape design, but you get what you pay for. I have a very old version of a landscaping software, and on my new computer it isn't compatible, so I am looking for a replacement for it.
The old program is called Land Design, and I have been searching different types of software, but none of the descriptions say if it has any features for SPRINKLER design, and that is a problem because that is the only thing that I need.
(I install sprinklers for a business.)
If anyone knows of a good program that has sprinkler design on it, could you please let me know.
Well since Rainbird is probably the most common sprinklers out there it would be wise to use their software. See their link below plus other links.
I want to take a picture of my front yard then put it into a program or something to add and delete things so I can get the idea of what I want to do before I do it. I do not have Photoshop and I am not great with computers and figuring out programs so an easy to use program would be best. Thanks
