What is the best landscape design software?
setup

I am a landscape designer, but I do hand drawn plans only. I am looking to invest in software. I work for a small but busy landscape company and I just don't have the time to do it all by hand anymore.

Dynascape looks the most professional, and with Dynascape Color you can colorize a design very beautifully in a very few minutes. It is more costly than the rest, but you get what you pay for.

What kind of job would be good for a jack of all trades?
light field

I have skills ranging from home improvement and repair, retail sales, inside sales, computer repair and diagnosis, computer usage and light programming, consumer technology (like home theatre installation), software consultation and sales, art (I draw and use computer graphic software), landscaping - you get the point.

I know how to competently do so many things, that I don't know what to do (for a job). My interests are wide and varied. I feel a little lost, any advice?

Start your own venture as a handyman,my brother-in-law did this two months ago and as most places have aging populations, they can no longer climb on stepladders etc,He has an interesting varied work, from washers in a tap (Faucet) to fitting a cat flap in a door and repairing broken kitchen units, he is doing very well, making £750 a week ($1000) on average.he printed up some leaflets and put them through peoples doors, work started to come in the next day,he then got a one of his retired customers to then do that tedious job,and as a carrot he gives a 10% discount to retirees

People normally use 3D Studio Max for modeling. If you are looking for something free try GMax.

Project based on Landscape Architecture - Need Help....?
protrusion

The title says it all - I need a help with my Personal Project that is based on Landscape Architecture..

I'm going to design sketches of a Park, and I would like to know what type of Software(s) or Comp. Programme(s) I should use to do this?

There are points that should be known firstly:

1) I'm also going to possibly (Not yet sure) to take a real empty land in Jakarta (This park is going to be based in Jakarta) to base my "Sketches of Park" (I'm not actually making the Park, only designing - planning it)..

2) I'm going to add some Indonesia Cultures - Elements onto the Park, so I would have to also sketch some wooden carvings or the kind..

And lastly, I have another question: Do you think in my position that it would be better for me to sketch my Parks with the Computer or Manually (With hands, writing tools and paper)? Just so you know, I'm not a Tech - Savvy person, however, I can draw quite well.. The best option would be to draw it by hands (For me), but, would that be a bad idea for this Personal Project?

Thanks for your help :)

My answers would be 2 ones I know architectes and designers do use on a daily basic :
- Adobe Illustrator
- AutoCad (some architect and designer software that cost a lot and is hard to work with)

...i heard about Architect 3D and about Google Sketch Up, but dont, know them tough.

If you had these talents, how would you use them?
protrusion

Let's say that you had the following talents:
- able to type 90 to 110 words per minute
- sketch artist... excellent at drawing landscapes and portraits for people... anything they want... whether it's color or black and white
- able to play piano
- good graphic artist
- good with computers... also know business management material (good computer tech)
- know A LOT of songs... reggae, rap, r&b... heard 'em all and know many songs by heart
- really funny person and can make anyone laugh
- great and creative web page designer
- know some software programming to SOME extent
How would you use these talents and combine them in some way to really be known to the public and make money? and how would you advertise yourself etc....?

You should be a copywriter for a full service advertising agency that specializes in interactive media. Your talents will be very useful with this position and your work will be seen by millions. Good luck with that!
