I have kichler outdoor lights made of aluminum with bronze coating. They have a bluish film. How to fix?

do kichler aluminum outdoor lights oxidize and cause a bluish film. If yes how do I fix.


These lights were coated by the manufacture with bronze so they would get a blueish patena on purpose. It is for this "look" to make them look old.
However if you want them to look like they did when new, check out a coin dealer and ask him for coin cleaner or use Tarn-X at your local hardware store. Follow the directions and when cleaned spray paint a clear finish to your work to protect it from happening again.

Help! Can you identify this fixture ( kichler from lowes)& tell me where I can find it?

Hi,
I am currently remodeling my home & choose to replace my existing outdoor lights on the front of my garage about a year ago with your brand of lights-I am now remodeling & need one more light but cannot seem to locate it or remember the name. the picture of the light is my profile picture. Just recently I was in Lowes where I originally purchased it & it was still carried (this was about a month or two ago) I went in to purchase it & there was no sign of it. I would be extremly grateful with any help towards identifying & purchasing this fixture- thanks in advance.

I have already looked on the Lowes & Kichler website & it was no help

Exploring Kichler outdoor lighting ideas

Just recently I came across a very interesting addition to standard outdoor lighting fixtures, with a twist. Kichler, a very prominent brand in the outdoor lighting companies, has a real neat line of outdoor lighting called, the Garden Collections. Each of these eight series have several lights for different fuctions, but they each strongly fit in artistic design with their collection family. Additionally, two of the collections have outdoor chandelier lights.
