I'm a sophomore in high school and am currently doing outdoor track. I compete in long and triple jump. I recently bought spikes, but do to the lack of choices I bought a pair of mid distance track spikes.

They are very comfortable and feel very light. But I'm concerned whether or not they will help me compete better or worse in long and triple jump. Can anyone tell me if there is a major difference?

Personally i also have mid distance track spikes and i run the 200 the 400 and pole vault. The main difference between the spikes will be sprinter spikes will help force you to run on your toes, but if you already do that you should be fine jumping in mid distance :] p.s. this would not work for high jump :P

I have a GFCI breaker on my main panel, with several outdoor deck lights on that circuit. They work fine until I turn on a track light in an indoor room, which is on a separate non-GFCI circuit, at which time the original GFCI circuit trips and will not reset until I turn off the track light.

What would cause this?

It sounds like you have the neutrals (of both circuits) connected together somewhere outside of the panel.
Trace out the wiring of these two circuits, if possible.

Those Big outdoor lights, the ones at race tracks,dragstrips, nfl,mlb, sized ones, they make some portable ones too

I know that both have risers, but the G5 has a lace cover for less drag of air. The Powercat is very thin and light, but the G5 looks really heavy and there doesn't seem to be any air vents in it. I run the 55m in indoor and the 100m, 330m hurdles, and the 4x100m in outdoor.

don't worry about air drag and all the aerodynamics.
the Powercats are a more flexible, slightly lighter version of the G5.

The G5 is not really heavy, it braces your foot, so it feels like there is no dead-weight. The G5 has a stiffer plate, that helps forefoot lockdown.

I got both of them, i use the G5's for the 200, and the powercats for the 400. or visaversa

alot of people believe that running the 400 in G5's is not good, but whatever, i do it and still run fast.

but yeah you should get the G5's for the 55 and the 100.

and get the powercats for the 300 hurdles.

another popular hurdling spike is the Nike zoom lisista
(its a womans spike) but it is great when you find a size.
Its popular because of the spike plate that was brought back from Nike Zoom Celar.

many professional and collegiate hurdlers like its spike plate.
for example Liu Xiang had G5's with a Celar plate (custom made for Athens)
and Felix Sanchez had Powercats with a Celar plate (custom made for Osaka)

The mens version of the Lisista is the Nike Bigbrotha .

but yeah just try out a few.

I all ready have an established business and am currently doing Outdoor Training Classes- the area is lighted and covered. I need an awesome marketing suggestions or slogans to continue to promote this during the winter months when it is harder to want to get outside. Any suggestions? We are thinking on the line of doing some agility and tracking training outside to make it more appealing but I need some outside thoughts. Thanks in advance.
